Spire+ offers one measured path and one unmeasured choice

Pragmatic Play's Spire+ is a Middle Ages tower of nine rows, and both of its published numbers sit at the top. The 98.00% return is certified for Expert or Master difficulty, played to completion without cashing out; the 256901x ceiling is the ninth MASTER row itself. Between the first pick and that summit the round runs unmeasured: the CASHOUT button stays grey until a win exists, turns orange, and the current win accumulates row by row with no stated return behind it. End the round, by cashout or by the skull tile, and every remaining tile reveals at once, but only after the decision is final. The game offers one measured path and one unmeasured decision in the same round, and a player cannot take both.

How the game plays out

Picking a difficulty decides the tower before the bet: row width, win-to-lose split, and the nine-rung ladder that CURRENT WIN adopts with each cleared row. START locks the choice; a skull still zeroes the round at any point.

EASY
Selection rebuilds every row to four closed tiles, three of them winners, so picks survive three times in four and each cleared row grows the current win by a third, from 1.31x at the base row to 13.05x at row 9, where the round pays and ends by itself.
MEDIUM
Three tiles fill each row here, two winning and one losing; picks survive two times in three. Clearing a row multiplies the current win by 1.5, carrying it from 1.47x after the first row to 37.67x at the top, the point where the round closes itself and pays.
HARD
Rows narrow to two tiles, one winner and one skull, so each pick is a coin flip with the round at stake. Survival doubles the current win every row, from 1.96x at the bottom to 501.76x at row 9; reaching the top ends the round and banks the ladder's full value.
EXPERT
One winner hides among three tiles, so picks survive one time in three and a miss ends the round at zero. Each cleared row triples the current win, from 2.94x up to 19289.34x. The stated 98.00% RTP is quoted for this setting and Master only when a round runs to completion with no cashout.
MASTER
One winner sits among four tiles; picks survive one time in four. Cleared rows quadruple the current win, from 3.92x to 256901x at row 9, which is also the game's hard win cap. The printed ladder skips the exact x4 pattern at row 7, reading 16056.62x instead of 16056.32x, and this setting shares the 98.00% RTP quote with Expert under completion-without-cashout play.

How to play

A tower of 9 rows of pickable tiles stands in for reels in Spire+. Each safe pick raises CURRENT WIN; the loop is deciding whether to bank it with CASHOUT or push one row higher and risk a skull tile that wipes it to zero.

  1. Start the round

Press the round circular START button to launch a round with the current BET and DIFFICULTY; the stake is deducted immediately and the bottom row lights green. Use + and - to change the stake first, and the five-gauge DIFFICULTY panel to switch levels.

  2. Pick one tile per row

With Row 1 highlighted, click a single tile or press RANDOM to let the game pick. A white-arrow reveal raises CURRENT WIN and activates the row above; a skull tile ends the round with no payout. Repeat the same pick each time a green row appears.

  3. End the round

While CURRENT WIN reads above zero, the CASHOUT button ends the round and pays that value at once. Skipping it means picking on until all 9 rows clear, which closes the round automatically at the full value. Either way, every tile then reveals.

Playing smart: bankroll and volatility

One decision exists inside a Spire+ round: press CASHOUT or pick the next row. Everything else, the difficulty pairing, the stake, the autoplay limits, is fixed before the climb or across a sequence. The four notes below map each choice to its documented consequence and to what stays unverified.

Bank with CASHOUT or push one row

While CURRENT WIN reads above zero, pressing CASHOUT ends the round and pays that value at once; skipping it leaves the whole amount exposed to the next pick. A cleared row raises the multiplier, a skull zeroes the round. The 98.00% return quote assumes EXPERT or MASTER played to completion without cashout, so early banking's effect on return is undocumented.

Difficulty pairs survival odds with a ceiling

The gauge panel links pick survival to the top rung: EASY keeps three of four picks alive and ends at 13.05x, MASTER keeps one in four and reaches the 256901x cap. Once START deducts the stake, that pairing holds for the whole round. The 98.00% quote names EXPERT and MASTER only; no verified return figure exists for EASY, MEDIUM or HARD.

The stake scales every payout

All ladder values and all cashouts multiply the total bet, which runs from $0.01 to $250.00. Raising the stake enlarges both the top rung and the loss when a skull lands; currency wins are rounded down to two decimals, so small bets can shed fractions. The amount set before START governs the entire round.

Autoplay stops read the whole sequence

STOP ON LOSS and STOP ON PROFIT halt autoplay once the set amount has been lost or won in total from the feature's start, measured across the whole betting sequence, not per round. They bound the sequence total only; no documented setting caps exposure inside a single climb.

What we think

Key advantagesAll nine step multipliers are published in the rules, so each cash-out call can be weighed against a known number.
Key advantagesDifficulty dials per-pick survival odds from 75% down to 25%, so the player sets the slope of the whole climb.
Key advantagesAutoplay pre-programs the whole sequence, including which tile is picked per row, with stop-loss and stop-profit guards.
Downsides to consider98.00% RTP is stated only for Expert or Master played to completion without cashing out, not for the cash-out game.
Downsides to considerNo seeds or hashes are published anywhere, so the full-board reveal after a round is a display, not verifiable proof.

Spire+ turns the climb into nine priced decisions instead of one blind ride. The weakness is informational: the only published return assumes Expert or Master played straight to the top, and no seeds or hashes vouch for the draw. A player who wants to set their own per-pick odds and compute every cash-out will find the toolset here; they will not find proof.
