Vortex: Three Rings, One Cash Out Button

The only way to bank anything in Vortex is to press Cash Out, and until you do, every ring keeps its progress and every Skull spin can push it back. Turbo Games built the whole game on that tension: Fire, Earth and Water climb three separate multiplier ladders, the payout is the sum of the three positions times your stake, and Partial Cashout lets you shave a segment off each ring instead of walking away entirely. The published return runs from 93.56% to 97.16%, and the rules themselves state the top figure only comes from cashing out on the first segment after any symbol lands, so the long climbs that make the wheel look generous are exactly where the return thins. The Fire bonus tops out at x700, but the curve punishes waiting for it.

How the game plays out

Vortex fills three concentric rings - Fire, Earth, Water - with multipliers that persist between spins, and every listed control decides how that stored value is paid, trimmed or extended. The arithmetic is fixed: the payout is the sum of the three ring positions times the total bet, and the ceiling of x700 comes from the Fire bonus.

Manual spin
One press fills one sector of one ring: Fire advances the outer red ring, Earth the middle green one, Water the inner blue one. Wind loses the stake without touching the rings, Skull steps every ring back one sector, and progress survives between spins until any payout clears it.
Hold to Spin
Holding the round button starts consecutive rounds until it is released, so stake size stays locked for the duration. This build has no autoplay dialog, and holding is the only documented way to chain spins without pressing each time.
Cash Out
Cashing out pays the sum of the three current ring multipliers times the total bet and resets all rings. Documented example: fire x85, earth x44 and water x10 on a $0.1 stake printed a payout of $13.90. It is the only exit that collects everything at once.
Part PayOut
Pays only the difference between the last and the penultimate filled sector of each ring, then steps those rings back, so the run continues. Measured at a $0.1 stake: fire x85 minus x52, earth x44 minus x27.5, water x10 minus x4.85 sum to x54.65, printed as $5.46. Blocked while every ring holds just one sector.
Fire bonus game
Filling all eight sectors of the red ring starts the bonus game, where x100, x200, x300, x400 and x500 pay with equal chance. The fire sectors then reset and add their own x200 sum on top, so the best outcome is x500 plus x200 - the documented x700 maximum.
Free cash outs of the full rings
A completed green ring instantly credits x20.5 and steps that ring back one sector; a completed blue ring does the same for x7. On a $0.1 stake these credited $2.05 and $0.70 automatically, with no button press and without clearing the other rings.

How to play

Vortex by Turbo Games is a crash-style game built around three rings for Fire, Earth and Water. Set a bet, spin, and watch segments fill: the aim is to grow the ring multipliers and take the money before a Skull or Wind symbol wipes out the stake. Ring progress carries over between rounds, so every spin ends with the same choice - press on or Cash Out.

  1. Set the bet and spin

Adjust Bet Amount with the minus and plus buttons while no round is running, then press the round spin button. Holding it (HOLD TO SPIN) keeps starting rounds until released. One press resolves one round on its own.

  2. Fill the rings

Fire, Earth and Water each fill one segment of their ring and raise that Multiplier; Wind loses the stake and leaves the rings unchanged; Skull pushes every ring back one segment. Filling the green or blue ring credits a free cash out automatically, and completing the red ring starts the Bonus Game.

  3. Cash out or continue

After each round the Payout readout shows the sum of the three ring multipliers on the bet. Press Cash Out to bank it and reset the rings, or take a Partial cashout to collect the last filled segment of each ring and step back, or spin again to keep building.

Playing smart: bankroll and volatility

Every deliberate choice in Vortex happens between rounds: the bet, the exit, and the pace. The rules state the highest RTP comes from an early cash out, and the documented exits pay differently, so the notes below compare what each control actually changes and what stays unknown.

When to cash out

The rules state the highest RTP is achieved by cashing out on the first segment after any Fire, Earth or Water lands, and the quoted range runs 93.56% to 97.16%. Holding out for more sectors is documented as the lower-return path; how much lower at each depth is not stated.

Partial cashout as the middle exit

Partial cashout pays only the difference between the last and penultimate filled sector of each ring and steps those rings back, so the run continues instead of ending. It is blocked while every ring holds one sector. Whether repeated trims beat one full Cash Out is not documented.

Bet size is locked per run

The bet can only change while no round is running, and Hold to Spin chains rounds until released, keeping the stake fixed throughout. The session caps at $100 per round and a $10,000 max profit. Setting the bet is therefore the last reversible decision before a streak.

Chasing the Fire bonus

Filling the red ring starts the Bonus Game with equal odds of x100 to x500 plus a fixed x200 from the reset fire sectors, ceiling x700. Reaching it means declining several Cash Out points, and a Skull can push every ring back first. The trade-off's value is not quantified anywhere.

What we think

Key advantagesRing progress persists between spins, so the cash-out call carries real weight each round
Key advantagesPart Payout lets the player bank the last segment's gain without resetting the whole board
Downsides to considerRTP spans 93.56 to 97.16 percent and only the top of that range rewards early exits
Downsides to considerThe 700x ceiling is low for the format and the operator profit cap sits at 10000 USD

Vortex turns the cash-out into a genuine decision: three rings climb at different speeds, the Skull claws them back, and the published rules state outright that the best return comes from leaving early. Players who chase the fire ring to the bonus are paying for the spectacle in RTP terms. It suits a disciplined player who treats the exit as the game, not the dream of 700x.
