MegaBlock locks its difficulty ladder before the first block falls

The difficulty selector is the real bet in MegaBlock. Before the round starts, the field cycles through Easy, Medium, Hard and Hardcore, and the choice rewrites the whole ladder: 24 blocks with rungs starting at x1.01 on Easy, down to 15 blocks on Hardcore, where the ladder opens at x1.60 and is already showing x17.00 by the fifth visible rung. Once PLAY is pressed the field greys out and locks, so the decision is made before a single brick drops. Each press of GO lands one more block and climbs one rung of the Progressive Multiplier; Cash Out collects the current value, and one failed placement ends the round with nothing. The published return is 95.50, and the printed ceiling is a flat 20,000 USD cap rather than a multiplier, so at the maximum 200 bet the game stops paying long before the ladder does. Pick the rung count you actually intend to climb.

How the game plays out

MegaBlock by InOut Games is a crash-style tower game with four difficulty settings on one DIFFICULTY switch. Each mode fixes both the block count and the Progressive Multiplier ladder, so the two move in opposite directions: fewer blocks means steeper steps per rung. Cash Out is available at any rung before a failed placement ends the round.

Easy
Stacks the tallest tower at 24 blocks, the most attempts of any mode. The ladder starts at 1.01x and climbs in small steps - 1.04x, 1.09x, 1.14x, 1.20x on the first five rungs - so each landed block adds little and a miss costs the round before much has accumulated.
Medium
Cuts the tower to 22 blocks, two fewer than the lowest setting, and lifts every rung in exchange: the ladder opens at 1.09x and runs 1.24x, 1.43x, 1.66x, 1.93x across the first five steps. Each successful placement is worth more, but the block is harder to land.
Hard
Drops the count to 20 blocks and steepens the climb again. The first five rungs read 1.20x, 1.51x, 1.93x, 2.50x, 3.29x - the fifth step already pays more than triple the stake, roughly matching what the lower settings reach only at their starting rung multiplied several times.
Hardcore
The shortest tower at 15 blocks and the steepest ladder: 1.60x on the first rung, then 2.74x, 4.85x, 8.90x and 17.00x by the fifth. This is the mode that reaches the game's largest multipliers, with the fewest placements available before the tower is complete.

How to play

MegaBlock is a crash game by InOut Games: a crane stacks brick blocks on a tower, and each landed block raises a Progressive Multiplier on the ladder. The loop is simple - press GO to climb one rung, or hit Cash Out to bank bet times the current multiplier before a block misses and the round collapses.

  1. Set bet and difficulty, press Play

Before a round, adjust the BET field and pick one of four modes - Easy, Medium, Hard or Hardcore - on the DIFFICULTY field; the mode sets how many blocks the tower can take and how steep the ladder runs. Then press the green PLAY button to start the round.

  2. Press GO or Cash Out

Each press of the GO button drops one block onto the tower and moves the ladder marker up one rung, raising the live amount on the Cash Out button. Press Cash Out to collect bet times the current multiplier; if a placement fails, the tower collapses and the bet is lost.

Playing smart: bankroll and volatility

Three choices in MegaBlock sit before, during and after the round, and each binds a different thing: difficulty locks the ladder and block count before play starts, Cash Out timing fixes the payout at whatever rung the tower reaches, and bet size decides where the flat 20 000 USD ceiling cuts the ladder short.

Pick difficulty before pressing Play

The DIFFICULTY field is editable only in the idle state and greys out once a round starts, so the mode cannot be revised mid-round. Easy offers 24 blocks with rungs from 1.01x upward; Hardcore offers 15 blocks with a first rung of 1.60x. Fewer blocks and steeper rungs move together; which trade suits a session is left to the player.

Decide when Cash Out ends the round

Cash Out is available at any rung after the round starts and pays bet times the current multiplier; a failed placement forfeits the bet. Autoplay can pre-commit this decision to a chosen ladder rung (1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 12, 16, 20 or 24). The result of each round is resolved by the provably fair seed combination, so no pressing pattern changes it.

Size the bet against the win cap

Bets run 0.12 to 200 USD, adjustable only between rounds, and the printed Max win is a flat 20 000 USD. Because payout is bet times multiplier, the cap bites at roughly 100x on the maximum bet and proportionally later on smaller stakes, so high multipliers on large bets are cut off by the ceiling before the ladder ends.

What we think

Key advantagesFour difficulty ladders let the player set their own crash point: Easy stacks 24 blocks, Hardcore only 15.
Key advantagesHardcore opens at x1.60 and hits x17.00 by the fifth rung, so early cash-outs still pay meaningfully.
Key advantagesAutoplay with a fixed cashout step and provably fair per-bet checks make the exit decision verifiable.
Downsides to considerThe 95.50% return sits low for the format, taxing every ladder rung more than expected.
Downsides to considerA flat 20 000 USD cap means the multiplier ceiling shrinks with bet size; only 100x remains at max bet.

MegaBlock hands the cash-out decision real shape through its difficulty ladders, from a gentle 24-block climb to a 15-block Hardcore sprint. But the 95.50% RTP and fixed dollar cap quietly compress the upside. It suits a player who picks a rung and exits, not one chasing the top.
